Description HealthNet is seeking new and recent Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) graduates that desire careers in primary care for this two-year postgraduate Residency program. This FNP position exists to promote excellence in clinical nursing practice by providing mentorship and setting specific training for our highly complex and underserved population in urban Indianapolis. Clinical Practice: - Develop and manage a panel of patients with the exclusive attention of an expert primary care provider - Gain valuable clinical experience in specialty areas including, but not limited to women’s health, psychiatry, pharmacy, urgent care, title x, weight management, optometry, healthcare for the homeless, social work, healthy families, school-based, chiropractic, nutrition, and more - Assesses health status through obtainment of relevant health history and comprehensive physical exam, preventive screening, and identification of medical risk factors. - Formulates appropriate differential diagnosis and identification of individual, family and community needs. - Develops treatment plan to maximize the health potential of the individual, family, and/or community. - Orders and adjusts medicatio...
