Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH) is looking for an Advanced Composite Technician I in Tulsa, OK. Shift: First (04:45 to 15:15); other shifts may be available Pay Rate: $21.21 per hour: Job Type: Full-time, Contract: Contract Duration: 12 months (w/opportunity for extension) Benefits: Experience/Education: - coverage of up to one-half of employee's medical insurance premium for a base plan - eight (8) paid holidays - per diem split (if qualified) - three (3) sets of uniforms (if applicable) - opportunity to become a direct hire after ninety (90) days - High School graduate or GED. - Basic computer skills. - One (1) year related composite experience. - Ability to work with composite resins and materials. - Requires ability to read & interpret blueprints. - Read and interpret 6" scale. - Valid driver's license required. Purpose: Under moderate supervision, perform one or more of the following composite part manufacturing functions: lay-up, cutting, bagging, autoclave, trimming, and/or repair, in a production environment. - Ability to operate a forklift & overhead crane is required.
