Warehouse Operator 3rd Shift

Job description

General: Receive/unload and prepare/load liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars. This work is physical and requires attention to detail as follows: Maneuver and connect/disconnect transfer hoses Climb up tanks, tankers and railcars to open/close top hatches and monitor load Inspect tanks, tankers and railcars before and after loading/unloading operations Verify product against receiving/shipping documents, noting and reporting discrepancies and damages Product sampling and quality control in conjunction with lab personnel Maintain accurate receiving/shipping logs. Record amounts of product received or distributed via appropriate computer program Picking and staging product for delivery in accordance with specifications on customer orders or other instructions Operation of powered and manual industrial lift trucks (with certification) to transport product in the warehouse, and maintain daily forklift checklist Move raw materials to the production area and move finished products to the warehouse Ability to lift and carry bags, pails, boxes, and pallets varying distances Ability to stage and remove product packaging in complex storage racking within ope...
