Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Vertiv Lincoln, Nebraska is looking for a Production Supervisor for 1st Shift. The Production Supervisor will assist in managing the production floor to produce the final product. Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible. Train employees in proper work methods and procedures. Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines or production lines. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Ensuring the production floor and warehouse operate in a safe manner. - Ensure proper staffing for the number of machines or production lines running i.e. shutting machines or lines down, sending employees home when necessary due to lack of work. - Conduct evaluations and mid-term assessments on assigned personnel. - Responsible for ensuring that product quality meets specifications and criteria set forth by quality spec sheets and management expectations. - Communicate any concerns or changes in current processes to all employees. - Set production quotas and give feedback in relation to performance to those expectations. - Make production related decisions, which includes planning work cell/p...
