Job description

SUMMARY: The Cycle Counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counting and reconciliation activities. This role ensures inventory accuracy, supports operational efficiency, and helps prevent stock discrepancies within the warehouse or distribution center. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts according to established schedules Accurately count inventory using handheld scanners or manual count sheets Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies between physical counts and system records Identify root causes of variances and report findings to management Enter count data into inventory management or ERP systems accurately and timely Support physical inventories and audits as required Maintain accurate labeling, bin locations, and storage organization Follow inventory control procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards Communicate discrepancies, damages, or process issues to supervisors Assist with process improvements to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency Assists with training: QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job succes...
