Network Test Engineer

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Telecommunications, or a related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Test Engineer-related occupation. - Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Telecommunications, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Network Test Engineer-related occupation. - Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: - Testing and debugging of network equipment and network protocols; - Developing test plans and creating test cases based on specific test methodologies; - Configuration of network management and control plane protocols including LACP, STP, RSTP, and VRRP; - Test automation scripting using Python or C++; and - Writing technical documentation for test plans, procedures, and results.
