Description Job Title: Local CDL Driver: Department: Transportation: Job Summary: The Driver is responsible for ensuring safe and on-time delivery to our customers, all while following Federal, State, and company regulations. This position supports deliveries within an assigned service area, with routes typically completed within a single shift and drivers returning to the home terminal daily, based on business needs. Duties/Responsibilities: · Safely transport and deliver products to customer locations within designated routes · Secure loads using proper tie-down and tarping procedures in all weather conditions · Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns immediately · Maintain a professional and safety-focused demeanor · Identify opportunities for process improvements within transportation operations · Adhere to the assigned delivery schedule and follow all job directives precisely · Provide support to loaders as needed · Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with Federal and State regulations and company policy · Assist other departments with vendor pick up and/or drop off · Deliveries may require self-loadi...
