Job Description Summary The Automation Reliability Controls Technician assists plant engineering groups with the development, implementation, and validation of manufacturing improvements related safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Advises and supports projects as assigned. Troubleshoots PLC programming issues as they arise in existing production equipment and develops new PLC programming for process and equipment design improvements. Updates schematics, drawings, and documentation during project execution. Researches and deploys solutions to controls obsolescence and reliability issues. Trains and mentors peers and other technical resources on controls knowledge and skills. Complies with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Complies with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices through consistent application of sound quality assurance principles and engineering best practices.
