Forklift Driver - Day Shift

About the Role: Fannie May in Northlake, Illinois, is looking for an experienced forklift operator to move packages and materials throughout the facility. This location is a freezer facility, so the temperatures are lower than a normal warehouse. This individual will need at least one year of experience in a warehouse and will operate; standup forklift, turrets, and reach trucks. Shift: 1st shift - 5:00A.M - 1:30P.M. Monday through Friday with overtime when needed. Main Responsibilities: - Responsible for ensuring proper quality standards are maintained, including all labels are appropriate and that all products are selected as accurately and efficiently as possible. - Operate certain machinery; forklifts, stand forklifts, pallet jacks - Move all required materials to the correct department within the warehouse - Required to perform all duties in accordance with company safety guidelines listed in the company handbook. - Expected to work safely, and efficiently. - Responsible for line sanitation and ensuring proper clean up at the end of the shift. - Participate in on-going training to enhance knowledge and skills.
