Overview The Systems Engineer Sr supports the United States Secret Service (USSS) Aviation and Airspace Security Division’s (ASD) mission, which is to develop, coordinate, and implement airspace security plans for the National Capital Region, as well as for sites visited by the President, Vice President, or other designated USSS protectees Responsibilities: · Apply structured and disciplined systems engineering methodologies consistent with the DHS Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SELC) framework to support the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) capability. · Operating in collaboration with the Government and the primary system vendor, provide expert technical guidance, quality assurance, and oversight to ensure the system meets operational requirements, security standards, and mission objectives. · Validate vendor deliverables, recommending improvements, and supporting the Government in ensuring technical rigor, interoperability, and system reliability across all components. · Maintain and validate the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure alignment between Government requirements, vendor designs, and verificati...
