The University of Miami/UHealth Department of Community Health Delivery Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Medical Assistant 3 to work onsite in Kendall. CORE JOB SUMMARY: The Medical Assistant 3 will perform multi-skilled tasks to assist the medical providers. The Medical Assistant 3 shall assist patients’ healthcare management and clinical procedures in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service. The Medical Assistant 3 provides hands-on care to patients while adhering to regulatory requirements, standards of care, and institutional policies and procedures, under the direct supervision and responsibility of a licensed physician. The physician in charge may delegate the tasks to oversee the Medical Assistant 3 to a Nurse or Designee in charge of the unit/clinic.
