Overview As part of the Flavor and Taste Technology team, this position will support PepsiCo’s global and regional beverage innovation, develop flavor and beverage prototypes using internal and external flavors, build differentiated flavor and/or sweetener systems by working closely with Flavorists and product developers; and validate new ingredients in beverage applications. Support Flavor and Taste Technology team to ensure Pepsi beverage products are legal, safe, stable and consistent. Responsibilities: - Apply the flavor and/or sweetener systems to beverage products to determine optimal performance in the finished product. - Successfully complete evaluations and validations of FMPs, R&D ingredients, and new technologies. - Understand and conduct entire formulation process including: accurate formulation /prototypes, new ingredient and flavors specifications & handling, and computer entry of formulations and evaluation results. - Order and submit raw materials and/or finished flavors for analytical and sensory evaluation via Flavor QC - Work closely with other functions: product development, regulatory, documentation; Interface with production and other PepsiCo functions as nece...
