Day (United States of America) Department: 100 - 710000 TG - Laboratory And Pathology Position Description: The basic function of the Pathology Secretary is to transcribe pathology reports accurately and in a timely fashion, assist with departmental policies and procedures, and to send out, manage, receive, and load referred test results to pathology reports. Qualifications: 1. High school or equivalent. 2. Some college preferred, but not required. 3. Basic computer skills, and knowledge of medical and surgical pathology, pathology terminology preferred, and transcription experience preferred.
