Based in Edmonton, the Concrete Finisher is responsible for placing, finishing, repairing, and maintaining concrete surfaces and structures in accordance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role involves hands-on work in a fast-paced construction environment and demands precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with site crews. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assist in preparing work areas, including setting forms, installing rebar, and placing reinforcement as directed. - Place, spread, and level concrete using a variety of hand and power tools (e.g., screeds, trowels, floats). - Perform finishing operations such as edging, jointing, troweling, brooming, and stamping to achieve specified textures and results. - Operate power trowels and other finishing equipment safely and effectively. - Monitor concrete curing conditions and apply curing compounds as required. - Perfo...
