Quarry Groundman Sparta/ Cookeville Areas

Job description

Rogers Group is seeking a Groundman/Laborer for our quarry operation located in Sparta and Cookeville Quarries located in Tennessee. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assisting with plant clean up and operations - Being trained in various other entry level production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times - Report equipment problems and identify them to management - Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines - Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable - Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management - Operating production equipment as needed – such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer - Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable - Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: Rogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.
