Peer Support Specialist (Mon - Friday 1:00pm - 9:00pm)

Description The Peer Specialist monitors clients, provides peer support services individually and in a group setting. Transports them for treatment, communicates and documents all occurrences, and helps to provide a safe, caring environment in which the clients can recover. Requires maintaining a positive, productive attitude, even when clients may be argumentative or non-compliant. In addition, certify clients and staff as peer support specialist. Shift: Monday - Friday 1:00pm - 9:00pm Full time - Hourly: Responsibilities: · Facilitate curriculum-based peer support groups · Certify applicable staff and clients as peer support specialist · Maintain compliance with peer support specialist training certification and credentialing · Monitor/supervise clients at all times.
