POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Copier Service Technician I is responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing copier equipment at clients’ sites in a timely, high quality, and cost-effective manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve maintenance and repair issues at clients’ locations within a designated territory using diagnostic tools, services aids, and product manuals. Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by meeting clients’ needs in a courteous, timely, and cost-effective manner. Manage and maintain accurate inventory for tools, parts, and supplies in vehicle stock; participate in semiannual physical inventory and occasional spot checks. Meet established metrics and benchmarks and comply with procedures and expectations as outlined in the Field Service Manual. Complete technical training on all new equipment as assigned.
