Overview ROLE AT A GLANCE: The lab technician will support process engineering tasks. These tasks require a basic understanding of laboratory practices, mathematical, scientific principles, and encompass a variety of responsibilities ranging from maintaining raw material inventory, preparing benchtop samples, supporting pilot/plant trials, and performing physical testing for raw material and finished goods HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT: • As required and under supervision, execute bench samples, pilots, process scale-up verifications by recording results in laboratory notebook, protocol, and/or batch records. • Procure raw materials from suppliers and production warehouse. Maintain raw material documentation.• Perform basic chemical, physical and product performance tests on raw materials and finished products. Record and publish results. • Enter sample information into logs, coordinate sample registrations and collect data from QC as needed• Maintain laboratory workspace and equipment in a clean and orderly state.
