About the role – Purpose that counts Our SEQ Facilities has an exciting opportunity for a Carpenter to join the team in our Qantas Drive depot on Brisbane’s Northside on a fixed term fulltime basis until 30th of June 2026 (possibility for extension). As a Carpenter you will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs to Queensland Rail Facilities assets (houses, depots, stations, equipment rooms, etc.) to the standard which ensures safe and reliable operation to compliance / legislative requirements, maintenance and stakeholders standards. A Facilities Carpenter earns between $95,000 - $115,000 plus super working on the current roster. This includes the allowances and penalty rates for weekend and afternoon/night shifts. Overtime is also available. Please note - there is an on-call requirement for this role. You will be required to be on-call for a period of 1 week every 5-9 weeks.
