Job description

The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the area assigned in a clean and sanitary manner following Plymouth Harbor policies and procedures. Schedule: Rotating weekends. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Clean assigned area, as directed. 2. Maintain furniture in assigned areas in the pre-determined pattern. 3. Use proper chemicals in various duties as instructed by supervisor. 4. Report any unsafe conditions or items in need of repair. 5. Keep all dispensers stocked with toilet tissue, paper towels, and soap, as necessary. 6. Follow established cleaning procedures as directed by immediate supervisor. 7. Re-stock housekeeping cart at the end of the day with proper linens, chemicals, or supplies as job dictates. 8. Clean floors with proper equipment, including vacuum sweepers, dust mops, damp mops, or sponge mops as directed by immediate supervisor. 9. Empty and re-line all trash receptacles in assigned areas. 10. Make beds according to established policies and procedures. Handle soiled linen as instructed by supervisor. 11.
