Food Service Worker Department: Bosch Farmington Hills 700162: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Bosch Farmington Hills: Reporting To: Tracy Ballmes: Compensation: $18.00 / hour: Description: The Food Service Worker is responsible for food preparation, cooking, cleaning, stocking, organizing, and providing excellent customer service. Monday - Thursday 6am to 2pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Food Preparation : Assisting with food preparation such as creating fruit cups, maintaining the salad bar, stocking food supplies, etc. Sales Service : Engage with and provide superior service to all customers. Answer customers' questions, and provide information on procedures or policies. Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments, and complaints. Cash Handling : Establish or identify prices of goods and capture sales in the point of sales system. Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits. Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers. Ensure accuracy of payments and change disbursements. Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift.
