Position Title: Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology: Sociocultural Influences on Behavior (Open to all areas of psychology) Position Type: Full time Location: O'Leary Center Categories: Faculty Exempt Job Summary: Job Duties: The Department of Psychology at Bucknell University invites applications for a one-year, Visiting Assistant Professor position with a focus on sociocultural influences on behavior (open to all areas of psychology) beginning August 2026. The ideal candidate will be a teacher-scholar with a demonstrated interest in working with a diverse student population at a primarily undergraduate liberal arts institution. As part of the six-course load (three courses each semester). The successful candidate will be expected to teach Introductory Psychology, Research Methods, and some combination of courses that address culture, context, health, distress, and/or wellbeing.
