Hourly Pay Range: $18.84 - $27.32 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. - Position: Patient Care Technician - Resource Team / Float Pool - Location: Arlington Heights, IL - Per Diem Level 1- Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks with 24 of those hours must be on a weekend shift. - Must be able to attend Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday required orientation for Week #1 from 8:00am-4:30pm - Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm - Floating to multiple units - Required What you will do: - Works on resource team, floating to different units across the hospital - Assists patients with personal care needs including bathing, grooming, oral care, eating, use of bedpan or urinal, positioning, answering and responding to patient call lights, bed making, etc. under the supervision of a RN/LPN. - Assists with exercising and ambulating patient; utilizes correct body mechanics while assisting with patient mobility; maintains physical safety and comfort of patient under supervision of a RN/LPN. - Obtains patient vital signs, input and output checks, and accu-checks, and reports abnormalities to the nurse.
