DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Office Manager, responsibilities include: - Checks patients in for their appointments using an electronic health record. - Captures insurance and patient demographic information and enters it into the electronic health record to ensure data completeness. - Answers telephone, transfers calls, takes messages, and sends correspondence. - Receives and directs students and visitors; handles routine requests for information. - Schedules appointments as needed. - Assists Medical Records staff with sorting, filing and compiling documents as needed. - Maintains files and logs as needed. - Assists with special projects as needed.
