Coordinates patient care activity on the phone and in the office and clinic, providing necessary support to the physician within established guidelines. Patient care activities within scope of nursing practice will include but are not limited to patient assessment, medication management, collaboration with healthcare providers, patient education, procedural management, and other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: *Labor & Delivery or ambulatory OB experience preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution - Current Maryland licensure or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensure - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Two to three years clinical experience - CPR certification is required ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Provides compassionate and high-quality nursing care by planning, organizing, and directing the nursing functions of patients on the uni - Initiates and implements patient care plan. - Makes nursing assignments appropriate to the skill level of employees. - Maintains evidence-based standards of patient care. - Promotes a culture of patient safety when providing care. - Identifies problems and guides personnel to their so...
