Supply Chain Analyst

Job description

PURPOSE: The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for meeting organizational goals related to delivery performance, operational efficiency, and inventory performance. This role will work closely with other departments to identify the inventory needs of the company’s very large and diverse product offering as well as plan, execute and monitor the company’s inventory purchases. Inventory decisions will be driven by historical sales trends, factory component usage, customer forecasts, new product planning, and product obsolescence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: All other duties as assigned - Manage and oversee the system and process improvements within the supply chain - Use appropriate inventory management tools and processes to make inventory decisions - Support daily inventory control for a broad product line of control and industrial automation products manufactured domestically in the U.S. and at several global production facilities - Master key forecasting tools and procedures to better prepare for future customer needs and meet delivery request dates. - Support inventory levels and product demands to determine to reorder levels and safety stock levels that will improve product availability;...
