Job DetailsJob Location: Washington DC - Washington, DC 20036Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $25.00 - $28.00 HourlyFLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour Position Summary: The Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program provides a funded immersive summer study abroad opportunity for American college and university students to learn languages of strategic importance to the United States’ national security and economic prosperity. Participants receive the equivalent of one year of college-level language study in just eight weeks through intensive language learning and intercultural competence. Since its inception in 2006, the CLS Program has supported over 10,000 participants from all 50 U.S. states, equipping them with language and intercultural skills that set them apart in today’s global job market. Based in Washington, DC, the Program Assistant supports the work of the Director and Managers on the administration of the CLS Program.
