Job Description: A vacancy for an Onboard Safety-Critical Software Engineer in Aerial Delivery department has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. The duties and responsibilities of the Onboard Safety Critical Software Engineer for the Department of Aerial Delivery Software will be the following: To be in charge of the Software Requirements Specification for the Onboard Safety Critical Computers developed inside the AD Domain. To be in charge of the Hardware/Software Integration Testing for the Onboard Safety Critical Computers developed inside the AD Domain. To be involved in the development of the Software DO-178B DAL B for the Onboard Computers developed under the responsibility of the Aerial Delivery domain, and to be involved in its verification (testing, reviews and analysis). Develop considering the following factors: Safety, Quality, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial Requirements. For such purposes the following skills are required: Degree in Computer or Software Engineering. At least 6 years of experience in similar positions. Advanced level in English.
