Job Title: Registered Nurse, GI Status: PRN Hours: Variable Reports to: Team Leader/ Surgicenter Director Purpose of Job: Responsible for the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care in the GI lab for all patient populations. Assist physicians with GI procedures. Qualifications: 1. Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing with a current Tennessee nursing license 2. Basic Life Support certified required; ACLS recommended. 3. Previous experience in a GI setting (1 year minimum) recommended. 4. Must be in overall good health with satisfactory hearing and eyesight; must be able to bend reach, and lift 50 lbs. using good body mechanics. 5. Must be able to work a minimum of 6 shifts during a 6 week period. 6. Must be self-motivated, professional and maintain a positive attitude 7. Must have good verbal and written communication skills Primary Responsibilities: 1. Supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. 2.
