Job description

We currently have a 12-month fixed term full-time opportunity for an Electrical Fitter to join our team in the Rockhampton Rollingstock Maintenance Workshop. You will provide a service to ensure safe, efficient and effective preventative maintenance and repairs on various types rollingstock within our fleet. Key responsibilities: - Deliver modifications to 1720 locomotives in line with relevant drawings, specifications, procedures and instructions, including commissioning, testing and fault rectification - Contribute to refurbishment programs and maintain reliability and availability through preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs on locomotive rollingstock - Work collaboratively with team members to meet work requirements and project deadlines.
