Description The Instructor teaches private lessons, beginner through advanced, to students elementary school age through adult. Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and/or Thursday 4-6:30pm with potential for more. 30-minute private lessons are scheduled throughout the week during afternoon and evening hours and run year-round. Hours vary and are set before each session. Plus 3-5 Sundays per semester would work as Musical Director for our Stages program. Essential Functions: - Teach in a manner that promotes artistic growth from participants - Stay current on teaching styles and music trends to implement in the lessons - Work with supervisor to communicate cancelations & scheduling - Record and submit attendance records weekly - Maintain a clean and organized area to work with others using the space - Attend mandatory meetings/trainings - Communicate openly and clearly with families - Coordinate and implement final performances & showcases with the Director, Arts Education.
