About the Team: Aboriginal Education Services (AES) provide services to schools to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander learners to reach their learning potential and support all learners to understand and value Aboriginal and Torres Straight Isander histories and cultures. AES works within the Support and Development Division of the Department for Education, Children and Young People (DECYP) developing inclusive strategies, policies and guidelines. These support: Guided by Tasmania's Aboriginal Education Framework. Our work acknowledges Tasmania's unique socio-cultural context. It responds to the National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Strategy.
