Description The Truss Plant Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of the assigned manufacturing facility, including production, quality, safety, and profit goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. This person will ensure commitments are being met, while developing strategies to improve the overall operational performance of the truss plant operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage production output by interacting with supervisory and managerial associates in various departments - Develop, review and coordinate daily production plans, while identifying and solving problems that may impact production - Plan and assign work schedules of associates to meet the needs of plant operations - Develop associates with cross-training programs to expand the skill levels of associates - Oversee safety training programs and conducts safety meetings to ensure adherence to all government and company policies - Develop plans to meet company goals of the truss plant operation - Build strong customer relationships and ensure quality customer service - Monitor associate performance, conduct and work behavior; and provide coaching and training tips...
