Overview The Opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cost Analyst to join the Walbridge team. In this role you will manage a portfolio of medium-to-large construction projects and function as a liaison with the Cost Control and the project leadership team. You’ll be primarily responsible for invoicing the owner and paying the subcontractors monthly. This role will require you to support maintenance of various budgeting, change order, cost tracking/analysis/reporting and invoicing processes. Location: You will work from the job site in Dearborn, MI Responsibilities: Your Key Responsibilities: - Invoicing: Responsible for full-cycle project billing processing including invoicing the customer, and collecting, verifying and approving subcontractor and vendor invoices. - Collaboration: Work with Project Managers and Superintendents to verify compliance with contracts and subcontractor budgets. - Cost Impact Analysis: Review and analyze cost impacts associated with contract claims, incentives, and penalties as well as assessing the financial implications of project scope changes and delays, providing recommendations for budget adjustments. - Budget Realignment: Make re...
