Overview Department: Respiratory TherapyFacility: Resurrection Medical CenterLocation: 7435 W Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631Schedule: 12-hour nights, non-exemptSign-On Bonus: $15,000.00 Responsibilities: In the absence of a supervisor, the CRT/RCP I may serve as Lead RCP, overseeing operations during their shift. - Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders - Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management - Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis - Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments - Implement patient-specific care plans - Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately - Serve as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor - Respond to critical care situations and emergencies - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required 2. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. 3. 2 years experience as a RCP preferred. 4.
