Data Product Owner

Job description

Your day to day: - Responsible for identifying and analyzing gaps between current data capabilities and desired business outcomes, documenting requirements for complex, cross-functional data projects. - Perform analysis of data sources, data models, and ETL/ELT processes to design and propose effective data solutions. Develop alternative designs, advising on options, risks, costs, and impacts on the broader data ecosystem. - Maintain expert knowledge of our data platform, with a deep technical understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and BigQuery . - Maintain deep technical and architectural understanding of the data products, especially at points of interface with internal systems and processes. - Responsible for collaborating with business partners and stakeholders to empower a data engineering team to produce technical solutions that address complex business needs. - Effectively translate complex data concepts into a compelling business narrative for stakeholders, and conversely, translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for the engineering team. - Create and validate data quality test scripts and user acceptance testing scenarios, working...
