Hourly Pay Range: $33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights: - Sign on bonus: $25,000 - Position : Respiratory Therapist - Nights - Location : Elmhurst Memorial Hospital - Elmhurst, IL - Full Time | 36 hours/week - Hours : 7:00pm to 7:30am with every third weekend required What you will do: - Under minimal supervision, provides routine and complex respiratory therapy treatment to patients and performs a variety of routine pulmonary function tests according to established procedures in order to provide data used in diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease/ailments. In doing so, interprets physicians' order, obtains pertinent patient information, arranges and sets up necessary supplies and equipment, and monitors equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient charts. - Assists in monitoring department procedures, recommends enhancements, and assists in developing procedures as requested.
