Quality Engineer- Product Certification (UL/CPR)

Job description

JOB PURPOSE: The purpose of the Quality Engineer is to ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements by providing quality engineering support across the product lifecycle. This role supports product certification and ongoing compliance activities (e.g., coordinating certification testing, maintaining certification documentation, and supporting internal/external audits), analyzes product and process performance data to identify risks and negative trends, and leads cross-functional problem solving and continuous improvement using established quality tools (e.g., corrective action, 5-Why, PDCA) to implement and verify effective countermeasures. General Support to QMS MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: BS in Engineering Discipline or 5 years equivalent work experience. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: The Quality Engineer reports directly to the QA/QC Manager or designee. The QE shall select and facilitate projects or assigned tasks until completed.
