Wood is recruiting for a Steel Structure Design Engineer to join its Power & Industrial business with extensive experience in the Power Plants industry. This opportunity provides a Hybrid work attachment at Madrid offices. The Role #LI-Hybrid We are looking for an experienced Steel Structure Design Engineer, to participate in our Engineering & Technical department with the following expertise: - Perform the function of Structural Engineer on large or complex projects, including Design and Supply of Power plants Boiler´s steel structure and non-pressure parts. - Performs technical calculations and technical reports. - Prepares technical data sheets, material takeoff and specifications. - Prepares, verifies and/or approves drawings related to the technical calculations performed. - Check, comment, and approval of Steel structure and Non pressure parts shop drawings.
