This position can be in Calgary, AB or based out of our Vancouver BC office on a hybrid schedule. This role involves the technical coordination of high voltage substation projects from conception to construction. Responsibilities: - Leading and performing engineering coordination on 12 kV to 500 kV overhead and underground transmission and substation projects from the conceptual design stage through construction - Coordinate with the electrical, civil, structural, telecom and protection & control engineer and designer teams to ensure the design and other project deliverables are progressing according to the time schedule - Support project managers and discipline leaders - Prepare construction specifications - Writing and planning project scope, proposals, estimates, change notices, budgets, and similar documents - Managing engineering costs and maintaining schedules by monitoring project progress, coordinating activities, and resolving problems - Review des...
