Job Description About the role: Planning/Scheduling Coordinators evaluate local production capacity and monitor the attainment of production schedules. They assist in forecasting production volumes, material usage, machine capacities, and department resources to plan and schedule production runs in an optimal sequence. Individuals in these roles monitor ship dates and assist with scheduling jobs into the production system. They serve as a point of contact with production, customer service, procurement, and other departments to coordinate efforts across functions. Individuals in these roles gather data and provide reports to assist with capacity evaluations for the departments or technologies they support. Planning/Scheduling Coordinators help troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to missing files, downtime, and equipment failure.
