Overview Position: Lifeguard I Location/Dept. : Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Philadelphia PA Availability: Immediate Schedule: Part-time Plus (up to 29 hours per week); Part-time (up to 19 hours per week) - Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as will be required in performance of duties or as requested to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center. Reporting Relationship: Aquatics Manager (AM), Aquatics Supervisor (AS) Salary Grade : $16.00 Status: 73 Non-exempt Responsibilities: The Lifeguard I assures the safe utilization of all aquatic areas by Kroc Center members and guests. The use of superior customer service in providing oversight of these areas is required. Must be able to be flexible in support of the Kroc Center team in all areas of center operation, as needed and assigned. Maintain a safe and positive exercise environment in the center’s water park and competitive swimming areas. Supervise member and guest use of aquatic venues. Demonstrates knowledge and practical application of the center’s safety and emergency procedures.
