Utz Quality Foods is seeking a MRO Materials Manager to join our team of maintenance professionals. The Manager, MRO Materials oversees the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) procurement strategy for all manufacturing sites. This role leads standardized purchasing practices, vendor consolidation, and cost-saving initiatives, while ensuring optimal inventory management and accurate data within the enterprise asset management (EAM) system. Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-site operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Ensures utilization of preferred vendors and pricing discounts at all manufacturing plants. - Works with existing common vendors to pursue a corporate pricing structure for all plants. - Collaborates with service providers to negotiate and secure contracted services and corporate rates. - Identifies and distributes alternative non-OEM vendors offering reduced pricing. - Monitors purchase orders to ensure conformity of department cost allocations. - Creates optimal part inventory levels and re-order points to sustain adequate parts whil...
