Labcorp is seeking an EHS Specialist III to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. Job Responsibilities: - Depending on and complexity of a location EHS Specialist III may supervise consultants, and contractors. - May perform supervisory duties on behalf of the EHS Manager during their absence. - Mentors junior EHS specialists. - Administers environmental, health, and safety programs to meet regulatory requirements and company goals. - Provide leadership and technical expertise with regard to risk assessment activities so to minimize EHS related risk (e.g. fire, environmental releases, injuries, and illnesses, etc. - Assists Corporate EHS Director by participating on corporate audit teams, and other duties as requested. - Develops and implements facility-wide policies, procedures, and EHS training programs to ensure compliance with applicable state/country regulatory requirements and industry standards on a country, regional and global basis. - Inspects facilities and operations for regulatory and company policy compliance. - Conducts accident and incident investigations. - Actively promotes environmental, health, and safety activities, participates in committees and meetings, and prov...
