The Medical Director of Clinical Informatics (Valley Region) is a physician leader responsible for advancing the effective use of health information technology to improve clinical quality, efficiency, and provider experience. This role provides strategic and operational leadership for informatics initiatives in the Sutter Health Valley Region. The incumbent partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders to oversee the development, optimization, and adoption of the electronic health record (EHR) and related digital tools. The ideal candidate is an actively practicing physician with deep Epic expertise, strong leadership capability, and extensive experience integrating clinical workflows with technology to support exceptional care across Sutter Health’s Valley Region.
