Description Job Title: Case Management Intern: Department: Case Management: Reports To: Staff Member with a BSW of 2 years post experience or assigned supervisor Revision Date: 10/24/2024: Intern Job Functions: The Case Management Intern is for those seeking a bachelor’s in social work or related field (Psychology). The intern will be placed within one of the programs under the Case Management or Community Based Programs such as, but not limited to First Hug, Housing and Employment, Family Support Center and/or Intake. Intern will assist with the daily functions of the department in which they are placed that are assigned by site supervisor such as, but not limited to: completing required assessments with clients for the designated program, complete all documentation on client interactions, and maintain client files. Interns will assess client's eligibility for other programs, resources, and shelter. Interns will also have the opportunity to learn about other Metropolitan Ministries Programs and be able to shadow and gain knowledge of these departments.
