Job Title: Pre-Nursing Teacher Reports To: Principal / Academic Director Position Overview: The Pre-Nursing Teacher will provide high-quality instruction to high school students enrolled in the pre-nursing pathway. This teacher will prepare students with foundational knowledge and practical skills necessary for success in nursing programs and healthcare-related fields. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health sciences, experience in nursing or a related healthcare field, and a passion for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons in health science, anatomy, physiology, and introductory nursing concepts. Provide students with hands-on learning opportunities, including demonstrations, simulations, and lab activities. Teach foundational clinical skills (e.g., vital signs, infection control, patient care basics) in preparation for further nursing education. Prepare students for certifications (e.g., CPR, First Aid, CNA if applicable) and guide them through healthcare career pathways.
