Description Excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual that enjoys social services and the elderly. Universal Metro Asian Services is a Not-For-Profit organization that aims to serve immigrant populations of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the Middle East, Latin America and Europe. UMAS is a small, family run organization. The perceptive employee would need to have experience with that or have experience wearing multiple hats. In addition, perceptive employee should be able to work autonomously, be a self-starter, and have initiative and lots of follow through. Roles and Responsibilities: - Plan, prepare, implement and review a monthly activity program designed to meet the physical, social and mental health needs and interests of adult day services center participants. - Coordinate staff/volunteer assigned to assist with activities. - Maintain necessary records including daily monthly charting and attendance records. Inventory and order activity supplies as well as keeping track of meals served on a daily basis. - Provide routine and specialized assistance to participants as needed, including assisting in the bathroom, lunch, snacks, and dressing. - Participate as a key m...
