Job Purpose/Scope: The chemical lab technician provides practical assistance to support all chemical operations, provides technical support, and provides the appropriate flow of information. The technician is responsible for gathering samples, setting up experiments, controlling chemical processes and analyzing samples. Responsible for documenting and organizing the results of analyses. Job Duties/Responsibilities: Essential Functions Chemical Lab Area: - Properly collects and prepare samples for analysis, inspection, and final audit against in-house and/or customer specifications in a manner consistent with good laboratory practices. - Performs in-process inspection and analysis of product and processes against in-house, ISO, ASTM, IATF and/or Customer specifications. - Compiling and interpreting lab test results and correcting potential anomalies in results. - Monitoring chemical processes and resolving production issues by meeting with the appropriate personnel - Producing and retrieving graphical results to share with lab managers or more senior personnel. - Tracking inventory, prioritizing orders, maintaining lab equipment, and documenting the processes during each chemical te...
