Job Description Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a Surgical Technologist at The University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Position Highlights: - 06:30-17:00 with rotating day off - Employee status with full complement of benefits - Supportive working environment Position Details: - Perform sterile techniques, set up surgical trays, prepare and drape patients for surgery, and assist with post-operative dressings - Ensure surgical packs are cleaned and packed for sterilization after every procedure - Maintain a clean, safe environment for the patient by actively cleaning clinical spaces, operating rooms, and medical equipment or guiding other personnel in environmental maintenance Position Requirements: - Hold current national certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting - Graduate from a Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) - Have completed an appropriate training program for surgical te...
